My name is Megi and I'm a long time Puerto Vallarta visitor. My first trip to PV happened in 2007 when I first visited with my parents, about 4 years after our move from Poland to Canada. We stayed at the then Holiday Inn Resort (presently Sunscape) and the view, the climate, the people and, of course, the food absolutely stole our hearts. I've been visiting frequently ever since.  Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, I have not been able to travel and I'm impatiently waiting for the time when low-risk and low-stress travel will be possible again.  Since my last trip in 2018, I have been diagnosed with gluten intolerance. With that, I have embarked on a quest of compiling a list of restaurants, bars, clubs, grocers, markets and all other food establishments that presently have options for us gluten-free travelers.  My research is based on web searches and information provided by the restaurants. Walmart Mexico offers a wide variety of Gluten-Free grocery products and supplements. To make sure the item you’re interested in is available at any of the Vallarta stores, please make sure you select your store accordingly when you do your search and open a shopping session.
