My name is Megi and I'm a long time Puerto Vallarta visitor. My first trip to PV happened in 2007 when I first visited with my parents, about 4 years after our move from Poland to Canada. We stayed at the then Holiday Inn Resort (presently Sunscape) and the view, the climate, the people and, of course, the food absolutely stole our hearts. I've been visiting frequently ever since.  Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, I have not been able to travel and I'm impatiently waiting for the time when low-risk and low-stress travel will be possible again.  Since my last trip in 2018, I have been diagnosed with gluten intolerance. With that, I have embarked on a quest of compiling a list of restaurants, bars, clubs, grocers, markets and all other food establishments that presently have options for us gluten-free travelers.  My research is based on web searches and information provided by the restaurants. Amazon is available in Puerto Vallarta , and very much like anywhere else in the world, offers a wide variety of gluten-free products.  Remember to search for both “ sin gluten ” and “ gluten free ” - not all items appear under both.  While shopping online, always select your location (by postal code or log in for the system to recognize you)  for most accurate availability and pricing.
